      ASTON MODEL 1842 PERCUSSION PISTOL. American, 19th century. Military with lock signed "U.S., H. Aston, Middtn. Conn. 1847". Barrel has later presentation etching with "Dec. 25, 1886". Walnut stock has good inspector's marks and engraved and gilt brass hardware. 14 3/4"l.
