  • Payment information: Credit card or PayPal details when you subscribe. Payment data is processed directly by Stripe and PayPal -- we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Uploaded content: Images and descriptions of items you submit for appraisal.
  • Communications: Messages you send us via email or contact forms.

  • Usage data: Pages visited, features used, search queries, and interaction data.
  • Device information: Browser type, IP address, operating system, and device identifiers.

5. Data Retention

  • Account data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion request.
  • Uploaded images: Retained while your account is active. Deleted upon account deletion request, except where required for legal compliance.
  • Payment records: Retained for 7 years as required by Japanese tax law.
  • Analytics data: Retained according to each analytics provider's retention policy (Google Analytics: 14 months).

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Appraizely is operated from Japan. Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States (where OpenAI and other service providers are located). We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.

Our services are not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
