OUTSTANDING PAIR OF GEORGE II CARVED GILT WOOD SMALL GIRANDOLE MIRRORS. In the style of Thomas Johnson, each cartouche-shaped plate within a framework carved with C-scrolls, shell work, stalactites and acanthus foliage. Supporting two spiral twist candle arms ending in leafy drip pans and gilt metal nozzles. PROVENANCE: Woolworth Collection. SIZE: 26-1/2” x 14-1/2” w. CONDITION: Generally very good.
