ROULET DECAMPS HARP PLAYER AUTOMATON. A fine automaton with a Tete Jumeau head marked with two inverted “V”’s on the back of the head and sitting atop a trapezoidal bench as she plays her harp. When activated, her bisque arms raise and lower, “playing” the strings of her harp to music. She is dressed in a fine seafoam green gown with silk blouse. Base is recovered in a darker green corduroy fabric with boxed silk trim. CONDITION: Automaton possibly redressed many years ago (showing appropriate age and wear). Bisque coloring is uneven on head.
