      A Chinese gilt lacquered wood shrine. A rectangular shaped Chinese shrine painted deep red with gilt detail on the two carved pillars and frieze around the shrine area. Two gilded guardian lions on either side of the shrine opening. The front feet also have carved gilded beast figures.
