US 30-POUNDER SCHENKL SHELL. Excavated. Has an orig brass Schenkl percussion fuse (not orig to this shell). From the former Tom Dickey Collection of Atlanta, Georgia. Probably this specimen was recovered from Vicksburg, Mississippi, one of Tom’s favorite recovery sites. CONDITION: Light pitting and some spots of moderate pitting. 4-55926...
