A PAIR OF KAKIEMON-WARE SAUCERS Edo period (1615-1868), probably 18th century Each decorated with a matching design in typical Kakiemon-style enamels, depicting a stylised peacock flying towards stalks of chrysanthemums growing behind brushwood tied fences, the exterior with three sprays of chrysanthemums. Each saucer: 15cm (5 15/16in) diam. (2).
