The fingerboard with ivory insets carved with ship and half-sun, anchor with ship name Orion and date 1865, and rope. Bridge replaced with ivory shaped as a sash, carved with a whale and two porpoises. Tailpiece replaced with ivory carved with bird in tree and geometric designs.
