IMPORTANT AMERICAN CHIPPENDALE MIRROR Mahogany and Parcel Gilt Mirror, circa 1750-1780, with crest having a well-carved Phoenix or Hou-Ou Bird, flanked by vine carving, the gilt carved molded inner liner surrounded by nicely shaped carved ears, retaining the original backboards. 40" x 22 1/2".
