rifle, possibly a variant for artillery use, dated 1863; .58 cal.; the barrel 31 in. L.; brass butt plate, other fixtures iron; sling swivel ground off (as made); walnut stock with cut-away comb; 46 3/4 in. L. overall
Condition: Charge appears to remain in the barrel.
