      Half plate daguerreotype housed in larger case of woman and young girl. Plate measures 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" with case measuring 7" x 5 7/8". Image exhibits tarnish halo and presents damaged original seal with reseal beneath and is housed in leatherette case with seperate hinge. c. 1840's.
