WENDELL GILLEY (ME, 1904-1983) Osprey Hawk, 1959, carved and painted wood, signed and dated 'Gilley, '59', depicting an osprey landing on a driftwood branch, set on a carved oval wooden base, 16 1/4" high, 11 1/2" x 6 3/4". Repairs to both legs, wing chip.
