Hand-crafted figured walnut rocking chair: large scale, finely constructed, figured walnut throughout with oak arm supports and inlaid decoration, bottom inscribed "Curtis Whatley" and "1", 52 x 26-1/2 x 51-1/2 in. Excellent condition overall, very minor surface wear, some checking to walnut. Private Collection, Montgomery, Alabama.
