An 1833 Pattern Dragoon officer's cap platecirca 1833-50
Die-struck gilt brass sunburst plate with applied silver-plated copper Napoleonic-style eagle. Illustrated as Figure 237, A.M.H.I. Together with two embroidered six-pointed star insignia, gold thread on dark wool, possibly as used on the Dragoon forage cap of the same period.
