Kuba mashamboy helmet mask, DR Congo. Carved wood face with wide crescentic slitted eyes, narrow nose, upturned mouth and triangular facial scarification. Beaded beard with animal hair. Headdress of raffia and textile decorated with red and yellow beading and cowrie shells. Circa 1960's to 1970's. MEASUREMENTS: 18" without hair beard....
