PORTRAIT OF DR. WILLEM HENDRIK RINK, COMMANDER AND GOVERNOR OF ST. MAARTENS, DUTCH WEST INDIES, 1790-1807.
Rink (1756-1848) is credited with building the Philipsburg Courthouse in 1792, a St. Maartens landmark. Oil on canvas backed with board, 17 ½ x 13 ½ inches.
