      EAGLE SHIPS FIGUREHEAD: Rare 19th century large carved and giltwood ship's figurehead in the form of an American eagle with hinged wings. Mounted on later ebonized and gilt wood wall bracket. Circa 1840. Eagle approx. 47 in long x 40 inch wingspan.
