      WAVY BIRCH CANDLESTAND, New England, late 18th century. The top with scalloped corners on a bulb- and ring-turned column dovetailed to three cabriole legs, (old refinish, repairs at base), 50cm wide, 43cm deep, 68cm high (20 1/2in wide, 17in deep, 27 3/4in high).
