      Description

      TWO SIMILAR BALTIMORE FANCY SIDE CHAIRS, ca 1815-1820, with stenciled tablet backs, rear sabre legs and caned seats, with overall gilt and stenciled decoration. On both chair back rail bottoms, written in script, "D.B.M. Carry PA no. 25", probably an indication of ownership; 30" overall height, 17" seat height.
