Cherokee river cane shopping basket, two hinged bentwood oak handles, walnut and bloodroot dyes, attributed by Betty Dupree to Alice Walkingstick, late 1970s/early 1980s, 13-3/4 x 11-1/2 x 6-3/4 in. Excellent condition, one broken weaver at corner. Estate of the Late Hal and Frances Hancock, Sanford, North Carolina.
