Description

A British Pattern 1796 light cavalry saber
Curved 33 1/2 inch hatchet point blade, the broad fuller bearing government acceptance mark. Stirrup hilt with black japanned finish, the languets neatly removed. Ferrule with bar on exterior side. Leather-covered grip wrapped with single strand of twisted silver wire.
