Description

Good Multi-glazed Redware Flower Pot Attributed to J. Eberly & Co. (1885-1889 Shenandoah Valley, Strasburg, VA). Lead oxide, manganese, copper and engobe glaze. Bulbous body with flared rim, attached saucer base, coggle wheel rims. For similar examples see "Pottery from the Shenandoah and Cumberland Valleys", p. 95. 5-5/8"h.
