HORTSMANN & SONS US NON REGULATION OFFICERS SWORD, in the French model 1821 style having 31" slight curve blade with double fuller, brass semi basket guard, leather grip with fragment of wire rapping, peened pommel, overall length 37 1/2". Marked on ricasso "HORSTMANN & SONS" and "PHILADELPHIA".
