Description

JAPANESE SHORT SWORD (WAKIZASHI), Shinto sword period (17th century). Fully mounted with kogai (skewer), no menuke. Blade: hira-zukuri (flat, no ridge line), temper not visible, some openings. Nakago (tang): Ubu (uncut), mu-mei (not signed) - 11 5/16 in., 31 3/10 cm.

Some buffing Hada & temper not discernable. Blade openings, well...
