A Very Large Black Opaque Blass, "Boule Noir", Lanvin Perfume Bottle, early 20th century, featuring the traditional "griffe" with gilded glass neck and "melon slice" stopper, h. 8", dia. 17". This was never a functioning perfume bottle but a marketing tool used for display in boutiques and department stores.
