Description
Alvar Aalto: Extremely rare Alvar Aalto plywood armchair originating from circa late 1920s. Stain lacquered surface, this model pre-dates Aalto's so-called "Aulatuoli" model from 1930. Manufactured by Oy Huonekalu-ja Rakennustyötehdas Ab. According to family provenance the chair in question was a gift from Architect Aalto to the family.
