GUÉRIDON,Louis XVI, probably by C. HOPFENGÄRTNER (Christoph Hopfengärtner, 1758 Bern 1843), Bern circa 1780/90. Walnut, burl ash, cherry and plum inlaid with reserves, fillets and star. The rectangular top with wooden rail and 2 drawers. With fine brass mounts. 40x57x78 cm. Provenance: private collection, Basel.
