J. M. Barlow salt glaze stoneware jar, stamped on one side "J M. Barlow" (West Abingdon, Virginia, born 1856; sold pottery in Alum Wells and Ocala, Virginia), other side with freeform name, possibly "Jarvars", 19th century, 11-3/4 in. Discoloration, rim chips, generally good condition.
