An early 19th century japanned harp-lute by Edward Light, with gilt penwork decoration, inscribed with the 'Royal Coat of Arms, Patent No.153, Light, Foley Place, London', on a gilt oval stand, 33.75in (85.5cm) h.
The harp-lute was invented by Edward Light (1747-1832) in 1798.
