Chinese ceramic lidded jar; carved wooden lid rests upon ceramic body with extensive enamel and gilt decorated surface. Presumably from the home of Booth Tarkington; purchased from St. Mary of the Woods auction in 2007. 5 1/4"H. Very good condition with light surface wear.
