      A walnut pedestal desk by Maples, the gilt tooled leather inset top with a moulded edge above three frieze drawers and three to each pedestal, fitted brass plate handles, on plinths, 30.5in (77.5cm) h, 72.5in (184cm) w, 41.5in (105.5cm) d. Made by Maples in 1957 for the vendor's father.
