Description

ANTON OTTO FISCHER (AMERICAN 1882-1962). THE BRITISH WOOL CLIPPER "CROMDALE."
Built at Barclay Curle's yard in Glasgow in 1891, the "Cromdale" was one of the last clippers built for the Australian wool trade. Oil on canvas, 16 x 22 inches. Signed "Anton Otto Fischer" and dated '53, l.r.
