Chainmail Cap.
Circa 1580. All hand-forged, hinged links are attached to a nice, engraved roundel, 2” in diameter. Dark patina all around. Some links were replaced, at a later restoration date, with solid links; however, the vast majority is the original hinged links.
Condition (Very Good).
