PENNSYLVANIA SLIP-DECORATED REDWARE JAR AND COVER, NINETEENTH CENTURY.
Of shouldered cylindrical form, surrounded by two zigzag bands enclosing crosses, the cover with rows of dots, all in cream slip on an orange-brown ground. Height 6 ¾ inches.
Provenance: Bearing a paper label inscribed Dr. J.W. Glaisher, Cambridge, Exhib. no. 2617.
