Five early 19thC socket bayonets, probably from the Thoresby Volunteer Regiment, raised 1802 to 1803, commanded by Charles Herbert Pierpont 2nd Earl Manvers of Thoresby Hall, Nottinghamshire, each numbered, some with stamps to blade.Provenance: Butterfields, Thoresby Park, Nottinghamshire.
