Dan mask, Liberia. Idealized face with center forehead ridge, portruding nose, lips and beard, crescentic eyes with traces of kaolin, sides pierced for attachment. MEASUREMENTS: 9" long. CONDITION: Dark brown patina, encrusted overall with heavier encrustation to top including bird's feathers.
