Decorated Edgefield jug, two strap handles, pale celadon glaze, each side with white slip wreath, Thomas Chandler, Edgefield District, South Carolina, circa 1850, 18-3/8 in. Good condition, several small base creases or cracks (possibly as made) with some surface retouch, both handles repaired. Found in Franklin County, Georgia; Eugene Massey.
