19TH CENTURY SCRIMSHAWED CANE, WHALEBONE HANDLE,round inset baleen disk at top. Whalebone tip. Wooden shaft, two separate woods, possibly from shipwreck referenced on metal plaque. Plaque reads "Relic of the British Man of War, Somerset, wrecked on Cape Cod". The ship in question was wrecked off of Provincetown in 1778....
