Gnarly Grained Trunk, comprised of heavy dovetailed planks, with ropework beckets, brass lock escutcheon, interior till removed, scrap of 1801 Portsmouth, NH newspaper in bottom (likely hometown of trunk's owner), 17" high, 40" x 16". Surface wear, minor becket fraying.
