A Continental silver-gilt mounted jade canister
by J D Schleissner & Sohne, HanauCylindrical form, the detachable lid with silver-gilt scallop-edged border pierced and engraved with dots and applied with three lizards, the body mounted with pierced trefoil bands and polished lower rim above three snail feet, height 7cm, diameter 5.8cm.
