      STAFFORDSHIRE POTTERY PITCHER AND BASIN, JAMES & RALPH CLEWS, CIRCA 1818-25.
      Each painted with arrangements of stylized floral sprays and flowering vine borders in blue, ochre and green, the pitcher impressed CLEWS, the basin impressed CLEWS WARRANTED STAFFORDSHIRE and crown mark. Height 7 inches, diameter 11 ⅞ inches.
