A SILVER MOUNTED SKEAN DHU Charles Cooke, Chester, 1929 The 8.5cm blade with single fuller and faceted back edge, the waisted wooden hilt with basket weave decoration, the pommel set with a cut-glass 'stone' in pronounced claw mount, contained within its leather scabbard with thistles pierced and engraved mounts.
